PSC MilliMic any good?

Hi to all audio gurus! I'm looking to upgrade my stock Sennheiser mic (ME-2) and came across the PSC MilliMic (http://www.professionalsound.com/Catalog/milli.htm). How does it compare to lavs like the Sanken or the Countryman EMW/B6? I'm not only looking for good sound but also for a mic that is as resistant to wind and handling/rubbing noise as possible since I have to do a lot of run-n-gun shooting me being the only person doing everything.
Thanks a bunch,
Matthias

Matthias,

It depends on how concerned you are about budget. At the high end you have the Sanken COS-11 and the Countryman B6 (among others, but both are very well thought of) and at the low end you have the Countryman EMW. For the price, the EMW is very good (much better than anything else in that price range).

Well, the budget is always a concern. The Sanken and the B6 are pretty much out of my price range. I can get the MillicMic for about 80 bucks used and was wondering if that would be a significant upgrade from my stock mic or if I would be better off to spend the additional cash for a Countryman EMW... Or I just stick with the stock mic and save up for a Sanken. I'm planning on using them on a Sennheiser G2, btw.
Thanks,
Matthias
