PSC M4A+ any good?

I've seen a PSC M4A+ mixer for $650USD. And an Audio-Technica AT4462 for $500USD

Are either of these mixers any good. I did a search on DVX and elsewhere and can't find much info.

I found out the PSC M4A+ is the same as the Wendt X4.

I might have to cough up the money ast that is a real nice price for that mixer.

I have no clue about sound quality on the AT4462 though.

The M4A is a good 4 channel mixer. It's fairly dated now, but if it is in good condition it is a solid mixer. And PSC is great with customer service and repairs on even obsolete products.

They make a fader that can be attached to your boom pole for when you're mixing and booming. I daisy chain my M4A and my SD302 for when I need more than 3 channels.

Don't know that mic.

My understanding is that the m4a was designed by the guy who started wendt and that it is the same mixer as the wendt x4 so your right even though it is dated it should be decent. But is $650 a fair price on a mixer that old?

The AT4462 was an Audio Technica locations mixer not a mic.

Seems like you are after a 4 channel mixer? What is your budget? The PSC DV Promix 6 is pretty nice also. A lot more in price but more to offer as well.
