Protools and Vegas Output

I am currently checking out the demo from M-audio powered protools 7.0 in my rig and was wondering is there any compatiblity issues with Vegas 6.0c in terms of inporting beats into the vegas timeline and then adding it to my video for final export to dvd architect 3.0c? I notice protools uses a BWF (.wav) and Aiff output possibility and want to know has anyone used it to import into vegas?

Vegas will import both of those files just fine. In fact, I've had a situation recently where someone sent me mp4 files, which they thought I'd have to convert. When I went to import the files, they weren't showing up because mp4's aren't in the list of media files it would normally look for. However, I set the search for ANY/ALL FILES, the mp4's showed up, I imported them, and they worked beautifully.

If it's a legit audio file, I've found that Vegas will usually import it and work seamlessly.
