Proper Format for Director's Blocking on Screenplay and Storyboard

Hey everyone,

Is their a proper format to write out directors notes, with the original script?

Also, what would be the proper way to write out "Storyboard" camera movements, angles...etc.?

I have also posted this in the Writing forum as well.

Thank for the help!
Merry Christmas,

I remember seeomg clips of Scorsese's script for Goodfellas and it had notes and 1 inch storyboard boxes all over it.
That's the only "real" example I have to go off of, but I think you can do anything you want to as long as you can explain it to a cinematographer (for knowing what the shot is). Personally, I write actor notes, small storyboards, and music cues (for timing pauses) on the scripts I take to the set and that works for me. Find what's most helpful to you.
