I'm trying to find a prop knife end for an upcoming music video shoot next weekend. I basically want it to look like the knife is stuck in a person's skin. Is there any prop that I can buy (I'm imagining like the prop handle with a belt or something) or make? Thanks in advance.

LOL, I tried posting earlier, but I got busy and switched screens mid-post. Big mistake.
Okay, the big props house use a knife that is cut off 1/4 to 1/2" from the hilt. That is then welded to a thin plate that can be strapped/attached to the actor's chest/extremity.
Most "knife kits" include:
1. Rubber version (for the stage combat)
2. "hero" version (used for close-ups)
3. and the SFX version. Impaled into the body and/or the blood effect knife.
My advice........find the "movie kit" for your Knife. or buy 3 copies of the same knife.
First one......get someone to mold it out of latex (this is the "fighting knife"). Toss the real one once molded, or make it Knife 2
Second one......grind the point and edge to nothing. Barely cuts melted butter. (Used for CU's and ECU's)
Last one.....only can do the prosthetic type. The blood effect takes some serious engineering.
