Promax Apple NLE?

Anyone use an Apple NLE from Promax? I'm seriously considering getting one of their Apple Turnkey packages. Any feed back would be appreciated.

No, I haven't. But I'd also look into getting a college student to purchace for you...deep price cuts there.

I bought one like 5 years ago for work.. spent like $10k it was great.. but now knowing more about apple and FCP... you can build your own system much cheaper.. and some of the item including in their packages aren't necessary...

Interesting- I was going to go with them just to save myself some time, but I'm all about saving money. What items are unncessary?

What are you looking to edit? SD or HD? Are you looking to be working with Motion alot? or are you strictly editing in FCP?

Hi Sirdna,
I'll be editing both SD and HD (hopefully from the new HVX soon) on FCP, don't plan on using motion anytime soon but at some point I will be using it.
