ProLine T2000 steadicam group buy

I started a thread some weeks ago about a group buy of the Chinese Laing M02 on reduser.

A lot of things happened, and the group buy for the Laing is still on (more or less), but there's also a different offer for a more professional system. Have a look over at reduser at the thread, my blog or contact me (best on reduser via pm, my username is David Kellermann), if you have any questions.

Deadline is March 28th. You'll need a password to see the price and more details on my blog. Send me a pm or an email, and I'll send it to you immediately.

I do not work for ProLine, nor do I have any financial interest in them!

You can find more info on their website or their facebook page.

Here are some photos and data of the ProLine T2000 rig. And it's waaay cheaper than on their website.

Sled, arm and vest use industry standard conenctors, so it's easy to upgrade to a better vest or a different arm!

1x Full T2000 Sled comprised of

  • topstage
  • j box with LEMO / HD-SDI conenctors
  • gimbal
  • monitor and battery brackets
  • d-box with LEMO / HD-SDI conenctors

Looks great but I cant for the life of me get the password or find the decryption key

Anyway you can PM me that information?

Thanks

Hey Dave -

Thanks for the PM

I don't have a Red.....and don't really plan on getting one but I am still considering getting a Stedi rig of some sort or another.

There seems to be a lot of info in various threads but is the impression that this rig could actually be used on a pro-gig? Is this something that can be used for more than just learning on?

ALSO

What elements of the rig are RED specific?

Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob,

yes, the T2000 can be used as a pro rig. The arm is based on the 3A system, which isn't the newest, but a very well designed and still used system by Steadicam. Pro operator Tom Wills comments on it here.

Also, all parts are cnc machined to (like all 20.000USD+ systems). They use industry standard connectors, so you can easily upgrade to better vests or different arms. It also offer 24V for film cameras.

Only the additional cables are RED specific. You can choose if you want to have a RED one or RED Epic / Scarlet power cable (or a BMC cable).

Cheers
David

We're now close to 40 with 36 orders!

Some members who tried to wire the money directly via paypal told me that there is a problem with ProLine's paypal account. I forwarded it to Luciano from ProLine. He just sent me two mails:

yes I need to send a fax, explaining the process for the buy group, because we had so many orders and we didn't provide any tracking numbers for the shipping.
I ll try to fix it right away.

David, we sent the file explaining the situation to Paypal. We have to wait probably till tomorrow and everything is gonna be normal again. Sorry for that, but the Paypal store is new for us.

So if you have a problem ordering (maybe it's only for custom orders), it should be resolved tomorrow. In case you can't send the money, just keep the paypal reply as proof that you tried to order before the deadline is finished.

Cheers and Happy Easter
David
