Projector look?

I was wondering:

reviewing my film on my computer's LCD monitor looks ok,

But watching it on my old CRT tv it looks fantastic,

I'm wondering, when I show the film on a screen with a projector hooked up to a dvd player, which will it look mre like, LCD or CRT?

More like LCD. The cheaper projects are LCD, so there isn't much you can do to avoid the "look" of the LCD. I'm not a big fan of the whole LCD and Plasma look. They colours are vivid, but I find the image looks murky with ghosting and artifacts.

Nothing beats a good CRT. In my studio, I use a 9-inch CRT as my output monitor and in my mind, looks way better than my 83-inch projector and screen will ever look.

That being said, when I show a client footage on an 83-inch screen, even LCD projected, jaws drop.

We have a 42 inch plasma and Ive never seen murky, the LCD's we were looking at before buying this certainly did.
