Progressive Dvd please help?

I shot 24pa with dvx100b editing on a 23.98 timeline. Should I set sequence scan (under advanced tab in sequence settings) to progressive or should I leave it on interlaced? I want a progressive Dvd at 23.98 fps to finish that will play the best on computers. I've done lots of animating of shots and I want the movement to be smooth not jumpy. Please help. I've asked this question many times and get no reply. Thanks.

You didn't mention which software you're using.

If you have progressive footage, then keep it that way all the way to the DVD encoder. As long as your settings are correct, your DVD encoder of choice should then be able to perform 3:2 pulldown and convert the footage to NTSC 29.97, placing flags on the disc so that capable DVD players can process the pulldown and give you the progressive footage upon playback.

There is no such thing as a 23.98 SD DVD, only 29.97. 3:2 pulldown is used to play back the progressive footage from 29.97.
