Program for THIS?

Hey... does anyone know of a good program to create an image slideshow for a DVD. Where people can advance through the pictures on the DVD as a special feature. Thanks.

You have to make a movie with all the images and then set markers at each image then make your buttons and program them in the aithoring program.

whenever i have to do what you're talking about, i'm so thankful that i have dvd studio pro.

thats the easy way. You can bring each image in to an authoring program and make each one a program chain with a clickable link to the next one but that can get really confusing after the first 50 images.

I love Sonic Scenarist. I think its probably the most robust DVD authoring program out there but its not intuitive as the newer easy to use programs.

I think DVD Architect has an easy method for doing it.

I like to use Adobe Encore. It has a section specifically for making slide shows.

search for "slideshow" in the help menu of Encore. it's very easy

Just figured it out in Encore! Wow, that's totally slick! I can drag the pics into a timeline and it sets chapter marks automatically! Wow. Thanks so much!
