My question is: is it necessary?
The new HPX has in built Vectorscope, Waveform Monitor and focus assist, so could the purchase of a professional monitor ( such as the Panasonic BT-LH80WE 7.9" ) be justified?
My experience with cheap LCDs is that they are useless, so I would only buy the Panasonic BT-LH80WE if I knew it could rival a CRT Monitor in terms of quality.
