Profesional film cameras used on palce - question

Hi guys i got kind of wierd question, but i am reaaly triing to slove it...

I figured that, every film camera beeing used on place, as Arri, or Panvision has a yellow wire/ cabel.

1. is it coaxial cabel, conected from camera to video assist?

2. Why is it every time yellow color

(sry for my english i am just beginer )

That's the power cable. They aren't always yellow, but certain rental houses seem to like that color, Panavision being one.

If discussing Panavision cameras, it is likely power cable, but can also be the zoom gun, if using a zoom lens. Those cables are yellow too, if I remember correctly.
