Things I got done:
- completely redesigned my wife's site Dabbler.ca to incorporate a Brightcove video player (should interest anyone who wants videos on their blogs)
- bought a $30 router, flashed it with DD-WRT and set up a wireless bridge network in the living room so we can surf the web from the TV without network cables all over the place
- updated my XBOX360 to accept streaming Xvid and DivX video ++
- hooked the XBOX360 to the media center computer and the DD-WRT router for true wireless online gaming and other schtuff
- cleaned the house from top to bottom
- took the wife to dinner
- caught a movie on New Year's Eve (I Am Legend is not as bad as they say)
not bad if I may say so myself
