Production Title

Really really good except that the rapid flashing can cause epileptic seizures especially in children.

So, seriously, you need to get rid of that aspect. Maybe try to tone down the frequency and repetitiveness of the flashing and maybe tone down the magnitude of it (less dramatic luminance wise).

Otherwise the underlying work is pretty cool.

Not a fan of the wiggle, I think a few degrees of rotation would be cooler.
Good job though.

Well, first, question:

How do you go upon making your production title? Do you just make it look "cool" or do you really want to add meaning to it? Lionsgate, Warner Bros...Did they just create theirs to look cool, or is there a back story?

With that being said, I just made mine up as I went.

My friend designed me a business card and a logo, and I took the logo to AE and designed the effect there.

Here's the business card:

It should reflect the personality of your company or your clients possibly.
It should never be just to look cool. It should mean 'something'.

//even if it's not readily apparent. Like Pixar's leader. It should say 'something' about who you are or what you do. Not some random cool idea.

//card looks fine and to the point I guess.

It seems to me that the wobbling after the impact—appearing mostly on the right—should be more exaggerated. It's too controlled.

I prefer the second one. Although there's maybe one thing too many happening, in it...

...for the gods' sakes, not that business card. At least, not with the squiggly 'hand' font as part of it. You're not selling fonts; there's no need for your card to advertise how many you have at your disposal...

*edit* I like the new one...

I like this one better.

One thing about the logo though, the line below Cornaeu looks like a standard brush stroke from Illustrator. I would replace it with either a new brush stroke made from scratch to make it more individual and personal to your company, or an object or maybe just a regular line rather than a standard brush stroke.

Also, the name goes by a bit too quick to see what the company's called. It's like the whole thing leads up to the name disappearing as opposed leading up to the name being revealed on screen for people to read.
