Anyone produce commercials with Vegas?
I have been looking at alot of web sites trying to find music for some commercial spots I'll be working on.
Can anyone reccomend some good companies/ disc's? I'm looking for high quality and versitle tracks that I can use in a pinch.
15-30-60 second cutts as well as full length would be a bonus.

Anyone formilliar with Stack Traxx from digital juice?

Check out Acid. They are currently hooking up with 300 Free Loops in 30 Days. Create your own music for the spots.

john. I didnt know about this. I just checked it out. Did you get packs 1 - 3? I guess you can't download them now. You wouldnt have them stored next to Butch's daddy's gold watch? wanna share? ;)

Let me see what I can do. Yes, I have them all. Day 9 has a killer Cinematic style creepy music loop.

I have Acid, been using it since it came out. I've been writing music for multi-media for years but I'm finding that I need to have alot of styles of music on hand to get the job done.

Most of the time they needed it yesterday. So I don't have much time to write and make revisions.
speaking of Acid, Have there CD's gotten any better? I've been burned on a few of them and haven't bought any in a while.
The "On the Jazz tip CD" to name one of them was a complete coaster in mho.

Remember that you don't need ACID to use the loops -- you can loop right within Vegas. There's not all that much ACID does that Vegas doesn't . . .

That is correct David. ACID is an easier AUDIO platform to work in but if your just trying to lay down tracks; use Vegas if you have nothing else.
