Production client monitor?

I'm looking to purchase a 17" to 21" (ish) sized client monitor.
About a $3000 budget, but I want/need all the bells and whistles.

The 2 main contenders are the
Flanders Scientific BM210

and the
Panasonic BT-LH1850

The Flanders S seems to win out, except it has no HDMI.
For the most part I wouldn't need HDMI but I'd like it to be able to rent and I'm thinking of the DSLR market.
Also, Ive seen some complaints that the off axis viewing is questionable.

Also thinking that the Flanders Scientific name isn't nearly as known as the Panasonic name
and hate to have to constantly trying to "sell it" to potential renters.

Thoughts?
Any better options out there?
Thanks guys.

I spoke to Flanders Scientific through email and they say it's possible to use a passive adapter to go from hdmi to their DVI input.
I'm curious if by any chance someone has tried this (not just through the FS monitor) and if it works ok?

I know the BM pocket camera in particular wont work well with inexpensive hdmi monitors. I'm not sure if its because of the data rate or
a differen't protocol/codec but would I run into the same kind of problems coming in a DVI input?

I'd still love to hear if there are any better options/brands I'm missing.
