Hi everyone,
I've been searching the net about this topic but to no avail. I'm directing, producing, shooting a TV cooking show pilot here in Puerto Rico in about 2-3 weeks. We already have the Puerto Rico tourism company backing us up and my question is:
Once we have a sponsor who will basically pay for the cost of the show, is there a standard percentage rate for producers regarding tv spots sold? ex: We sell 8 30 sec TV spots for the first 2 months of the show with a rate of $300 per spot. How many percent will go to the producers and how much will go to the production?
