I get angry because i cant log on here during school cuz those bastards at BESS blocked this wonderful place. And they freakinnn blocked any search on any search engine that contains the word proxy or proxies.....im so pissd!!

Well, now I am finding myself coming to DVXuser today when tomorrow I have a FREAKING thesis paper due. It's far from done. This procrastination is going to kill me. If I walk into class tomorrow, without a completed portfolio, I am dead.

OK, rlm, I know you're still out there reading this, fretting about the thesis that still isn't written.

So here's the answer to all your problems:

Remake your thesis to something that involves this thread. Sociology, psychology, art-you're a grad student, you should be able to come up with some angle to make the thread your thesis (e.g.," ADD and the Internet, Symbiotic Players in a New Millenium", or other such pablum).

Print out this whole thread. Write an intro, a discussion, and a conclusion, use a bunch of links to other threads you've wasted time on as your citations and wham, bam, thank you ma'am, you're done!
 
i can't imagine a thesis paper trying to be written in one day. aren't they supposed to be atleast 30 pages long? rlm is screwed, lol
 
yeah one day is rough, although i just smashed out the last 40 pages of my screenplay in two days, turned it on monday. (but I did have an outline) Even while i wrote those 40 pages I was reading dvx its like sweet sweet crack.
 
damnit I just logged out to go write in a bar that doesn't have wi fi because I have act one due for my screenwriting class tomorrow at noon and this friggin thread made me log back on damnit.

I would say ban me until then but there's no point -- actually that might not be such a bad idea, although I was planning on taking my wifi card out of my laptop when I went to write at starbucks in the morning -- of course I can get on with my cell phone anyway --- damnit!

EDIT: yasodic -- it shouldn't be too big a deal I have the entire screenplay outlined and I just have to do ten scenes ... but this instructor is like John Houseman in the Paper Chase -- I'm just sick of getting spanked in there. I SHOULD have written the scenes, then written a B draft, then compiled the best then gone back and done the revisions like 2 or 3 times -- but I suck.
 
Yeah, I hear that, while I was writing I was already thinking of how it could be better in the re-write, but I just needed to lay tracks. Use a lot of,

I wish I could do that - and glad I can't at the same time. Plus the class is soooo expensive and I'm paying for it myself.

I could never get away with that in my class either, my teacher is the same way, except he would probably stab me in the eye and then make fun of me. Although now that I think about it Joe's sister is pretty hot, maybe there is a movie here.
