I'd like to start making films so im starting off with a few tests, I have a K3 and a few 100 rolls, has anyone here developed their own film, im not looking for amazing quality or anything i just wanna practice a little, but if anyone knows of any places that will develop amazingly cheap in the UK, but i could send to america it might work out ok. if there is any 16mm film that can be developed with chemicals for normal 35mm negatives that could be interesting, i'm hoping doing a 100ft roll would be practically the same as doing a roll in the darkroom?. cheers

I do small quantities for focus and registration tests on the Arriflex 16S cameras that I rebuild and overhaul. By small quantity I mean five and six feet strips. I modified some old Patterson reels that I use in a Patterson tank. It is all Plus X negative stock, I shoot five or six feet, cut off the strip in the changing tent, load it on to the reel and into the tank, then use Kodak black & white chemistry to process it just like if I was processing regular 35mm still camera film. Works great.

not gonna happen. you will need a reel to reel darkroom checal setup. basically, you cant just take a 100 ft roll and dump in chemicals. there has to be significant space between the film.

might be a way, but i dont see iit easily.
