Problems with Vegas 8

I recently purchased and loaded up Vegas 8. My system keeps crashing with an "Exception Error". Seems to happen when I'm loading M2t files into project media. Anybody having the same problem?

Also, I am unable to capture footage with my Canon XH A1 camera. When capturing, the footage is captured with 1 second clips. I tried turning off the scene detection to no avail.....

I've e-mailed Sony about this and they seem to be inundated with software problems. I feel like I may be one of their guinea pigs to get the V8 update ready.

It only happens for some m2t files. Remove that media from the project bean/folder for now and use the rest. It's a known bug.

There are indeed some issues with 8. Use Sony 7 to capture, or HDVSplit for the time being.
