Problems with Premiere 2.0 + Vista

I have installed Windows Vista on my PC and I have noticed that Premiere Pro 2.0 locks-up constantly, and can't be reopened after crashing. (this has happened everytime I have tried to use it)

Anyone know anything about this issue?
 
i wont be much help... i'm sticking with what works XP :D Vista is lame at least this version....

I've heard pretty much the same thing about Vista, and I'm also going to stick with XP for a while longer.

Reaktor- Have you tried checking Adobe's site for new patches and drivers? Also, you might want to check their forums for advice.
 
Vista is great despite all the compatability issues. I think I'll try the site for patches etc.
 
As I understand it, Adobe does not officially support PPro 2.0 on Vista so I don't think you'll find any patches. Adobe's 'patch' is the new CS3 version. You might visit the Adobe support page and search for some knowledgebase articles that might help.

Me too. That was priceless! :shocked:.

To the OP. Best if you checked on the Adobe forums about this one. Lot's of threads regarding Vista "issues" with PP2. The good news is that you can download a slightly crippled version of CS3 for eval.
