Can someone help? I have a problem with importing my pictures into premiere. They are to big to fit in the view on the monitor. I selected under general to scale clips to project and this works, except the resolution is horrible. I am new to this program, sorry if this is an easy problem. I also tried to search for the same problem with no luck.

Make sure that when you right click on the preview screen that the quality is set to auto. After you render the clip, it should appear normal.

If they look "flickery" you might have to bring the resolution down in another program before you import them. How big are they?

if its flikering its probably becasue you have lines that are thiner than one pixel or are too sharp of a contrast between lines of pixels. Either case try adding a blur of some sort like a .5 - 2 gaussin or anti-aliasing filter.
