I hear a static crunchy noise underneath the sounds picked up by the microphones (both internal and xlr ch1 and 2).
The audio levels are well below red level. When I go to the menu and switch the monitor from tape to live the sound goes away and is as clean as a whistle. When i go to tape the static crunch returns.
I play back samples of recorded tapes and the crunch is there. I tried an older tape recorded on a different camera and the audio on that tape plays fine.
Any ideas on what could be wrong?
