Problems with DVD after using VEGAS

I have a few problems with the DVD I burned from my VEGAS file....

I set RGB on text at 230 and applied Broadcast Colors (conservative 7.5). When I watch the DVD on my computer, it's fine. When I watch it on my television, the footage stops and stutters whenever words appears and whenever a segement FADES TO BLACK.

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?

As I've been editing, I've been burning copies of various segments. This happens all the time, with every piece. For some reason, it's only when the superimposed words are white and the footage fades to black.

Any suggestions???
