problems with Compressor

I'm trying to do a batch export using compressor as I hear it's better to use than FCP for exporting to DVD's. I am coming up with a problem however. Everytime I try and export it, it says 'unable to connect to background process' any idea what that means?

You need to re-install compressor. The background application hasn't been installed or is having a problem.

The problem was with Qmaster. Instead of reinstalling, I ended up going into terminal and typing "sudo /Library/StartupItems/Qmaster/Qmaster start"

Only problem is you have to do this every time you reboot your computer. But it's better than reinstalling everything since I'm not that great at Uninstalling.

Check the installer. I think you have the optiuon of just installing QMaster.
