Problems exporting with quality

Hi,

I can't export from Premiere with the same quality I get from my original HD files. I'm exporting with quicktime (Motion JPEG A). The resolution seems just perfect, but the contrast and brightness are all washed away. The image seems to be completely lifeless. I've read on other forums that this is a common issue. Anyone knows how to solve this?

I've tried Quicktime in both Motion JPEG and Photo JPEG and the same contrast problem occur. The colors are washed away, almost. And when I export in AVI (compressed or not) it won't read in my Windows Media Player (and I have Vista Codec pack installed, though my windows is XP).

Anyone knows how to solve this?

Thanks!
David

Ok, I found the answer. I'm using Adobe Encoder and exporting in WMV format. Much lighter files and quality is much better. No stupid gamma "correction" like Quicktime format does.
