Problems Exporting to Tape

When I tried exporting my sequence to tape, the camera was connected, and recorded nothing but a blank screen. I checked the playback settings under general preferences, and it said "NONE" for all the options. Does anyone know how I can reset the defaults or figure a way to export my sequence to tape?
 
im having the same problem right now.

it sees the camera, the camera has the little red dot like its recording ( to tape as it should ) but when i play it back its just a blue screen, nothing on it, no sound, nada..

wuts the deal?

i tried it with my little sony handicam and my canon A1 ?

using premier pro 2.0
 
okay, i finally got it to record something to tape, but now my widescreen footage is jumping crazily between 4x3 and 16x9, like glitching crazytime.. how does one fix this?
 
alright, turns out that this glitch is just something that appears on the lcd screens of both cameras, but when i play it through a tele, its fine.

thanks for the help :) hehe
