I have 2 minute long teaser I have made, which contains a lot of green screen material and many video effects and generators. I am attempting to export in both FULL QUALITY and just a file to put on the internet. When exporting to FULL Q, I am getting to 79% then its just quitting on me. Some directions I go it says there is a CODEC ERROR? any help? What's the best for internet with all these effects? THanks/

I seriously am having troubles. I just exported a 5 minute quicktime no prob, but now with these effects I can't even export a 2 minute project.

I am trying all different sizes - formats - and everything. It exports to 79% then stops and waits for a while...now its saying STARTUP DISK TOO FULL - DELETE FILES. Which is hard to believe because I still have 90 gigs left on my external and 17 gigs left on my powerbook g4 laptop.

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE AWESOME, ran into a brick wall!

What's the source footage? You might be trying to re-encode an H264 or MPEG4 into a frame size it doesn't work with.

Source footage. I shot on a DVX-100 some in 24P and some in 30fps. I'm not sure whatelse for source footage. ( Learning process ). Hardware specs are as follows. Editing in FCP on my Powerbook Laptop. 1.67 GHz PowerPC G4 - 1GB DDR SDRAM . Using a Lacie 250 G harddrive.

I finally got some mp4s to work by exporting quicktime movie. Get the problem when using Quicktime Conversion. Any Ideas? This suuucks.

THanks for the help thus so far.

I am trying to export using the compressor. It will export into mpeg4 but not h.264 - What i'm trying to do is just put this 2 minute project on the internet using probably photobucket or you tube or something. What is the best format to export making the project less than 100mb.

I also have a border around the project because when placing video over video I needed to cut it, and also hide some edges. When I export sometimes there is video OUTSIDE of the border which is not visable in FCP.

help!
