Hi
Im having a problem with Vegas 9 when editing my canon T2i footage
theres a couple problems

Ive renderred all my t2i clips from h264 1080p to MP4s at 720p
I have 1 clip thats quite long about 47 minutes, and when ever I drop it on the time line vegas turns off, with no warning?

Another problem Ive encounterd is when I try dropping the un renderred full 1080p clips onto the timeline the clips turn Red,and the viewer turns Red?

I have no idea what is causing this
My harddrive is getting low, theres only 55gb remaining
could that be 1 of the problems?

Quite to be expected. Vegas doesn't like MP4 and MOV h.264 footage for more than a few minutes of footage. It crashes too easily with that kind of format. AVCHD h.264 on the other hand is much more stable, since it's using a different decoder for that.

The way this is usually handled by many people who own these dSLRs is to transcode to an intermediate format, like the freeware Avid DNxHD, or the $100 Cineform AVI NeoSCENE.
