Problems capturing timelapse

I shot some footage in interval record mode, 30p. I can't seem to capture it properly in Vegas. I go through the DV capture process and as I'm watching, it counts off all the frames that it is capturing for the full duration of the time lapse clip. But when I go to play the captured file back, it only contains the 15 frames from that first 0.5 seconds of recording. Everything else has mysteriously disappeared.

Is scene detection turned off? Turned on you would end up with a bunch of short clips. Turned off you'll get one large clip.

There is a setting for the minimum length it will capture. The minimum is well above that.5 seconds.

Unfortunately, I don't have Vegas here with me, so I can't tell you exactly where it is. But you'll find it, or someone else will jump in with an "Oh, yeah. That."
