Hey guys

I sorta have this issue with my footage that starts with a kind of blurry ziggy motion. At first I thought it was due to the red chroma thing but after desaturating it still appears to be pixelated with a touch of white strobing.

On top of that; it looks great on my tv but the monitor has it looking like the darks are purple with yellow pokla dots and a touch of lens flare.

I tried applying Magic Bullet but all that does is add blue and green lines that happen only on exterior fence shoots.

Anyone know what this might be?

I have a suggestion....try to recapture the clip..see if it does it again..

I was going to ask if you were joking before I scrolled down because what you were describing with the yellow dots and all sounded like some sort of bugs bunny cartoon Malaria, hahaha!

No I just have seen more and more posts lately with 'Im seeing ziggity monkey kittys in my monitor....' anyone know what that may be?

Yes after several attempts I finally got Panny to replace my camera with the clunk in it and no more yellow polka dots. The camera they sent me, however, also has the clunk in it and now that you mention it it also has white strobing problem -- John I think Horse has nailed it -- now I need to get Panny to replace this one too :evil:

I couldn't get a frame grab with the clunk in it though, I think it's in 60p.

haha thanks -- (I got permission from Da Man before I busted this one out, hehe)

oh and here's my grab - is this what your yellow dots looked like? Jan should know about this -- maybe it's a DVX virus (GASP)
