Problem with Zoom

I bought one monce ago a new DVX100a and I have a problem wiht my Zoom out and Zoom in. When my zoom start, there is flick and an hésitation in the picture. The movement is not fluid. It seems to be a problem with the gears. My seller said to me that is normal and all DVX100a have the same problem!!!! Is it true?

There is a slight pause at the beginning of a zoom on the DVX. This is normal.

If this is a problem for you, maybe you should manually do shorter zooms to have more control...
