problem with the ballhead tripod with my slider

Hi,
i used this ballhead tripod with my slider

The problem is when i screw the ballhead tripod on the screw at the center of the Neewer slider, it gets stuck.

When i try to remove it, the ballhead tripod remains stuck and there is no way to remove it.
I succeed to remove it, but it seems to damage the screw and the interior of the ballhead tripod.

Can anyone help me ?

the big problem is that the chrome thread adapter is designed to be screwed into the head. Once tight in the head I've never had them back out when removing the head.

you keep the ballhead permanently on the slider ?

I'm not sure if i understand correctly.
If i travel, i still keep the ballhead on the slide ?

The 1/4-20 to 3/8-16 adapters are useful, & keep several on my key chains, but basically consider them disposable as they are often too difficult to remove without damaging the threads,
