Problem with redgiant and premiere

Hey all,

I'm editing my first feature, and I've run into a technical problem. I'm editing on Premiere 1.5, and also using Red Giants magic bullet. Footage is shot in 16:9. The problem I have is that after touching up a few clips with looksuite, they are showing up as 4:3 when I replay the scene. Has anybody run into this problem before? There's probably a really simple solution, but at this point, I need outside input before I slam my head in a door from frustration.

the only reason i ever had the problem was due to the fact i rerecorded a tape. i used it once and then rewind it then used it again. if there is ever a break in the tape, it picks up the letterbox and for that instant does something crazy with the footage. dont know if thats you, but other than that ive never had a problem with Red Giant
 
Thanks Scotman. That is the situation. Looks like I have to reshoot unless I can figure out a way to convert the footage. Dammit. Better go slam my head in that door now.
