Problem with External Monitor

I have a 24p program that we are editing and monitoring playback using a Canopus 100 and a Hitachi 13 in monitor. When we watch the playback on the computer screen, it looks fine. Watching it through the 100 to the monitor, its has a slight strobe, or almost as if it was skipping frames. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Frames are recompressed when going out to the external monitor, so there can be a delay, a hesitation as it plays. ANd the more effects (cc, or whatever) you have on the clip, the longer the deelay is.

That's probably what you're seeing.
