Here is the clip,

When I export this in 320x240 I don't really get this issue but as you can see in the clip above, when the lines come in they are choppy at the ends, and there's the same choppyness as things disappear. How can I get my videos looking more smooth at this dimension?

I used quicktime conversion with the following settings:

Compression Type: H.264

Motion:
Frame Rate: 29.97fps
Key Frames: Automatic

Data Rate:
Date Rate: Automatic
Optimized for: Download

Compressor
Quality: Best
Encoding: Best quality (Multi-pass)

Dimensions:
640x480 Vga

Prepare for Internet Streaming is checked

Thanks guys

that is interlacing. it'll look fine on a TV. if it's just for the web, it's best to create all graphics with a progressive sequence.

this is going to be mostly for web, so how would I create a progressive sequence?

I have also noticed on videos, if there's any sort of quick motion, I get the same problem.. so is there anyway to solve that?

well, if it's going to stuff like youtube, then it'll be shrunk down to 320x240 anyway and you won't see it. what program did you use to create the motion graphics?

I created the picture in Photoshop. Then just use keyframes in FCP for the effect...

I'm looking to have quicktime videos at 640x480 on my website, just like it's shown. So how can I do that and avoid the interlace issue?

There will be a bunch of others at 320x240, but there has to be a way to avoid this issue for bigger videos
