PROBLEM! Need Help

Alright, I was trying to capture some footage on my new imac in FCP and i kept getting this message. Anyone now what the problem could be? Thanks,

I was using a small 1 chip panasonic capture cam which i usualy use. It didnt work, so i tryed it with my dvx and it still didnt work.

What are your settings in easy setup?
It could be your firewire cable is toast, but I'd look at the settings first.

Seriously dude, always provide full information. Camera, settings, etc.

In this case it looks like your camera and computer aren't communicating.
