Problem: jitter w/ copy & paste zoom effect

I have some photos in my timeline (FCP). I applied a slow zoom effect to the 1st photo, copy and paste the attributes to 3 other photos and apply a 40 frame dissolve between them. Problem: there is a jitter in and out of the dissolve (everything was rendered first) but if I set-up a zoom individually to each photo one at a time (no copy and paste), there is no jitter.... any ideas what's going on and how to resolve?
