Problem in export

I recently shot a video on my dvx and imported it onto FCP with 24pa. After I have finished cutting up everything in the timeline and finished the movie completely, I exported it on quicktime. However, the quicktime movie that I get after export is different from the video on the FCP timeline (shown on the canvas). Does anyone know a reason why an exported video would be different from the video shown on the timeline? The result is an out-of-sync final product that is different from the video that I originally cut up.

My friends and I have been spending hours trying to solve this problem, but we just can't make the quicktime video match up to the one on the timeline. So thanks for any help.

I think a little more information will give us a head start towards helping you...

Based on what you said, I can only offer a few guesses:

- You imported 24pA footage incorrectly
- Your sequence settings are incorrect (Command + 0)
- You did not export using "current settings"
- Your Audio/Video settings in Quicktime 7 are incorrect (Command + J)


What version of FCP/OSX?
Did you remove the pull down on import?
Did you add a pull down?
What were your sequence settings?
Was the footage of a Milie Vanile concert?
