I'm trying to grab a bunch of tapes of HDV 30p on a JVC HD-110, using FCP 6.0. New Mac, pretty suped up.
The footage appears fine, yet I keep getting timecode break errors on Log and Capture. The only way I seem to be able to bring the footage in at all is to allow it to make new clips everytime it breaks. But then, the clips have gaps between the footage that I know are not there... and obviously, the material is unusable.
Is there a way to tell FCP to simply ignore any and all timecode on these tapes? I don't know if there are frequent timecode breaks, but I'll assume there are, and I just want the full captured clips on this time sensitive project.
