problem exporting quicktime movie

[scorsesefan]

using fcp 5.1.4 and exporting 2 minute piece to Quicktime, saving the file on disc, but when I try to play the file the picture freezes and sound continues. Occasionally picture unfreezes and then freezes again.
Any ideas?
thanks
