Problem after capturing..

check your project and capture settings. I can't tell where you are from but it either looks like you capture NTSC footage, adn are on a PAL timeline, or the other way around.
 
I'm in the U.S.
I don't think it was recorded in PAL and the timeline isn't set to PAL.
Weird thing is when I capture other tapes it works fine, it's just this one. And again, playing it, it seems fine.
How do I set the session to recognize PAL?

Anyone else have any ideas? I can't complete this project until I find an answer and thus far I'm still stuck.

have you tried capturing a little bit in on the tape? What I'm seeing there is corrupt header info that is telling Vegas that it's one format, when in truth it's another. In other words, it appears your tape has corrupt info on it. Forward into the tape a little bit, and see if it captures normally. I'll bet it does.
 
Thanks again Spot! It appears that you were correct. I have to cut out some footage, but it captures fine if I go into the tape a bit.
 
'nother good reason to count to 5 after starting your shoot. :-) Sometimes, you'll get a
corrupted header, I see this on a lot of footage from my older XL1.
