PROAIM - Cool and affordable body-mounted steadycam !! opinions

I think this steadycam is the cheapest body mounted one on the marked...

Kit:
Magic Arm
Operator Vest
Flycam 6000 Stabilizer
Tridpod stand with docking plate
7" LCD monitor Kit (only, 129$)
And a bag

And this one, is even more cheap. (927 $, and does not include the 129 $ monitor). This one is not with a magic arm, but a proaim 5500 arm, which is cheaper but looks exactly as good as the magic arm.. Has anyone tried these?

But when i watch test's at youtube i get in doubt, cause some people got better stabilized shots with a little 'merlin thing' without this cool (and mega heavy) big magic-arm, and body mount vest.. I feel its maybe some kind of overkill..

What do you overall think about these Proaim steadycam products? Is it piece of **** or a good offer for the low-budget man? I mean other steadicams on the marked is much more expensive, most like 4000+ $
Any opinions please..

Pro-Aim make some really awesome products! You will have a lot more versatility using Pro-Aim's full Steadicam system over a merlin flyer.
I suggest checking out the Pro-Aim Flycam CF-5 (http://www.proaimshop.com/pas/FLYCA...lization-System-with-Comfort-Arm-Vest-II.html) as it is an awesome price range option but will also do the job!
I've used several Pro-Aim steadicam's with different set-ups including DSLR's, ENG cameras, RED Epic's and they have a different Steadicam option to suit each of these different types of cameras.
My current set-up is a RED Epic fully kitted out on a Pro-Aim Flycam 7300 (http://www.proaimshop.com/pas/FLYCAM-7300-Stabilization-System-with-7-HDMI-LCD-Monitor-Kit.html)!
And lemme tell ya, it rocks! Very smooth motion and very solid build quality! Whatever camera your running nothing can beat Pro-Aim's price/quality!
