Proaim 4x4 filter hold won't accomodate my Tiffen 4x4 ND.9 filter

I just received a used ProAim MB600 off eBay and everything looks great, except the one filter I have so far, a Tiffen 4x4 ND .9 graduated filter won't fit in the holders. I measured the filter and it's exactly 4" x 4". The inside dimensions of the frame is slightly smaller than 4x4. Anyone else out there have a ProAim, and if so, what filters do you use? I'm wondering what's up.

they make cheap products, not surprising that there's an issue with it matching up with a quality company's product

It's not really a matter of getting different filters, the trays are just cheap. Back when I had one, I just used an Xacto knife to shave down the inside edges of the tray until the filters fit.

I took my Dremel to the frames and now the filter's fit easily. You'd figure with molded plastic they could at least measure accurately.
