Pro Tools PC to Pro Tools Mac

Hi all

I need to deliver Pro Tools audio files that were created on a PC, to a Mac. I burned the files using Windows Media Player but the Mac won't read the disc.

Any program or different method I should use for this? I don't really have any experience with Mac.

Thank you.

Burn the disc as an ISO 9660 and it should be fine. You may need to use something other than WMP.

Which program will enable me to do that? I googled it, but didn't really find anything helpful. There's Nero, but it doesn't say if it burns ISO, and there's Toast, which is only for Macs.

The files if they are WAV's should open up fine. What I think your problem is is that Windows uses a NTFS file system and Mac can't read that. You need a disk with FAT32 or UDF (DVD) as the file system and the Mac should read it fine. I don't know of a work around for reading NTFS on a Mac.

USB memory sticks are now so cheap that why use CD for almost anything? A 1GB stick is a few bucks.

Really? I can just copy it to a USB stick and then move it to a Mac? Will the Mac accept it?

I have not burned CD-ROMs for more than a year. Small USB sticks I can afford to give away (some companies now hand out press material on a 1 GB USB stick stamped with their logo, so I get them free also). I have a 4 GB Bullet stick on my keyring, can carry quite lot of data around with it.
