I'm looking to do my own music for my projects and love the Prophet V and Kurzweil synth sounds/patches. I'm curious on if there are any applications for the iMac to set up my mini-desktop keyboard or if there's some sort of unit to play out which has a lot of those 70s and 80s sounds? I'm open to ProTools as an option. I'll need to actually see the visuals as well when I edit (via .mov file so that I can score to the picture). Any suggestions or ideas?
Pro Tools and patches? (for editing and scoring music?)
