Pro Titler Problem

I am having a problem with the PT plugin in 64 bit Vegas 9d. When I use the "collections" and drop it down to the work area, I edit the text but as soon as I go past the first letter of the sample text , I loose all of the Special effects of the particular text. Any help?
 
Well, I don't use Pro Titler, but I'd guess that you have a keyframe in place on the second (or whatever) frame, so it reverts to baseline status when it hits it. Check the timeline in the PT control box.
 
Pro Titler Problem

After you drop the collection, select the existing text and type your new text. Do not start by deleting the original text. The initial keyframe for the collection is assigned to the first letter, and by deleting that letter you also delete the keyframe.
