Until you've shot something we have all seen or have "ASC" after your name, then nobody cares to read your musings and theories on cinematography or reposts of things you read elsewhere. A "web presence" is not a job requirement - in fact it will only hurt your career if your posts are full of errors and mistakes.
"Pro Tips" are a new series of wildly inconsistent posts from a cranky old veteran of the movie biz. There will be more - but there won't be a blog.
