Pro Dolly with Boom

I want to rent a Professional Dolly that can Boom up and down for a short. I have a good resource in my town that has all sorts of equipment and I have rented a small doorway dolly form them before that was awesome.

What kinds of dolly will work? Can I use the DVX with any dolly if I get some sort of adaptor to adapt to the smaller size screw on the bottom of the cam?

I also have a Sachtler DV2 tripod and I know some of these boom Dollies will let you drop your fluid head into them. I don't know all the lingo, so I would like a little help so I don't sound like an idiot.

What size do I need to adapt to on the bottom? What is a good dolly to rent that can be used with this cam?

thanks in advance

well you say you have a good resource locally, goto them with these questions as they can let you know what they have and show you how it works with your camera.

Yes, a Fisher was exactly what I was thinking. I couldn't remember. I live in Salt Lake City and we have a place here called Redman that is really good, I know they have FIsher's there as they stock for movies that come in and TV shows that shoot here (TOuched by and Angel used to shoot here and Everwood shoots her now) I always get my gear from them and I have seen a Fisher in their lobby.

It is a good idea though to tell them that I just need to adapt to my DVX-100. Has anyone ever done this?
