Pro 1.5 Dropping Sound Frames on Export to Tape

Has anybody ever had problems exporting to tape with Premiere Pro 1.5? My project plays all right on the computer and even the DVD's I burn are fine. However, when I export to tape, it drops or skips a sound frame about every ten seconds. I am exporting a 24PA project via firewire to a Panasonic DVX-100B, I have every conceiveable setting in the software and camera dialed in correctly, yet it still drops/skips audio frames. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks for any guidance.

usaully this problem is due to lack of cpu power. prmeiere takes up a lot of system resources and if your computer isn't fast enough you will start hearing pops in teh audio. First test the audio by exporintg it as a wav and listen to it using windows media player and see if you still hear skips and pops. If you dont then its you computer. Either upgrade or you can export you clip as a single .avi and get scenalyzer live to back up you footage to tape. Another option is simply backing it up ot a physical hard drive (better backup solution than tapes these days for dv footage)
